The Story of the Garden Pots

While exploring the back roads of Northwestern Connecticut, I came across a book about the great potter Guy Wolff. His passion for what makes old pots great inspired me to try and make some garden pots in this traditional style. I love gardening too and populating my own garden with my own hand made containers connects me to this great tradition of garden pottery. These first ones, inspired by Guy Wolff's forms, are made with stoneware clay. I have been looking for the right terracotta clay that can hold up to feeze/thaw forces and hope to keep making more of these in the future. Stay tuned...
